Our women's health yoga classes are specifically designed for women.
We pride ourselves in offering accessible, non intimidating classes for ALL women. Our Women´s Health Yoga classes and Restorative Yoga classes are suitable for all women and life stages. Our yoga teachers Charlie and Gemma have both completed additional training in Fertility and Pre and Postnatal yoga and bring this knowledge of hormonal health into their classes.

A relaxing, restorative class focused on relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety and improving well-being. Includes restorative poses, breathwork and a relaxing savasana.
Our Yoga Teachers
Charlie Berrow
Charlie has been practicing yoga for 22 years and teaching for 3 years. She trained as a yoga teacher while working in social care and wanting to teach therapeutic practices to support the mental health and well-being of the families she was working with.
As well as 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training, Charlie has completed 85 hour pregnancy yoga, 25 hour postnatal, 95 hour children's yoga trainings an birth doula training.
Gemma Daffurn
Gemma has been practicing yoga since 2001 and teaching for ten years. Her style is relaxed and welcoming with an emphasis on whole body and mind wellbeing. After her 200hr teacher training she completed additional qualifications in pre and postnatal yoga, Teen Yoga with Charlotta Martinus, children's yoga (including baby yoga) and most recently fertility yoga with Real Fertile and Sally Parkes Yoga. Gemma has run her own yoga studio and has taught yoga for children at CAMHS.

How is it different from other types of yoga class?
Our yoga classes for women are designed around an understanding of the female body and lifestyle stresses that many women experience. Both Gemma and Charlie focus on using yoga therapeutically to regulate the nervous system, reduce anxiety and improve mental health and emotional well-being.
Our Yoga for Women's Health class, taught by Gemma is a predominantly floor based class with gentle flowing sequences working with the breath to facilitate relaxation. You'll leave feeling calm, ready for a great night's sleep and totally zen!
Gemma will ease you through some gentle stretches combined with simple breathwork techniques to leave you feeling calm yet rejuvenated. This class is suitable for all ages and abilities although for practical purposes you must be able to comfortably get up and down from the floor. We focus on holistic wellbeing of body and mind. Great for overall wellbeing and stress relief. We´ll have time at the end to grab a cuppa and chat with likeminded women which will consolidate this relaxing practice.
