Mabon marks the time of Autumn Equinox, a point of perfect balance in the year of light and dark, a turning point of witnessing longer nights as we drift into winter. This is also a time of abundant harvest, animals are feasting on nuts, berries and fruits, preparing for the cold months ahead. Mother Nature provides us with an abundance of gifts to see us through the winter.
Now is the time to breathe deep the fresh Autumn air, and watch the leaves turn into magical colours of red, amber and gold as the energy of the trees move towards the roots.
If you can, take time to go for a walk, marvel at the changing seasons, have faith that nature holds us gently and in return, be gentle to her.
