Birthday Parties & Celebrations

Are you looking for a bespoke, rustic, natural and eco-friendly celebration for your birthday, your child's birthday or another special occasion? Join us at our woodland site near Mitcheldean for an outdoor celebration in nature.

Children's Birthday Parties

At HARE we love to help your family celebrate your child's birthday. We offer 2 or 2.5 hour Forest School birthday parties, led by a qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader and supported by our staff experienced working with children.

If your child has a particular interest, we can follow a theme, such as woodland fairies or seasonal such a Spring themed.

We also offer neuro-friendly small group birthday parties.

Bookable dates are limited, so please book in advance.

Party Activities

Our children's birthday parties can include the following:

Group wide games
Shelter building
Making Nature Party Crowns
Make a willow wand
Making popcorn or marshmallows on the fire
Making natural paints or dyes or mud paint
Clay modelling
Family yoga

Various other crafts and activities can be available. If there is something your child would like to do, please let us know. Use of our slack lines, rope swings, hammocks, mud kitchen and our fire circle with canopy shelter is included in the party package.

Snacks

We can provide one of the following at an additional cost.

Roast banana with chocolate and marshmallows cooked on the fire - £1.50 p/p
Cheese & tomato "pizza" wraps warmed on the fire (vegan & gluten-free options available) - £2 p/p
Hot cross buns or crumpets - £1 p/p
"Smores" (vegan option available) - £1.50 p/p
Hot chocolate - £1 p/p

Please note that food is not included in our package price. Please choose the option above in addition. You provide the birthday cake. You are also welcome to provide your own food.

Grown-Ups

Our "Food & Fire" evenings are perfect for your celebration. Based mainly around the fire, for an ambient catch up with your friends, our parties for grown ups are a great way to celebrate in a natural environment.

Activities can include any of the above. We can also bring in specialist crafts tutors to teach more complex natural crafts, such as wood working, willow weaving, jewellery making or wool crafts, at an additional cost. Booking is available in the evening. You can bring food to share or we can provide any of the above.

Please note that we aren't licenced for alcohol.

Accommodation is available for up to 35 people, with our partner Oakraven Field Centre.

Prices & Booking

Create your bespoke package by choosing from the options above.

Two hour birthday parties start from £200 for up to ten children. 2.5 hour parties start from £250. Additional children £12 each, 20 children max. Neuro-friendly birthday parties are the same price for up to 6 children, run by SEN experienced staff. Please contact our SENCo, Georgie for more information.
